UBC CSSS Tech Consulting

About Us

CSSS Tech Consulting is a new initiative launched by the UBC Computer Science Student Society to provide hands-on project experience to aspiring developers at UBC. We bring together talented and passionate student software developers to collaborate on impactful projects, ranging from revamping UBC club websites to enhancing research and community platforms. Our teams work hand-in-hand with UBC clubs and communities to craft innovative software solutions, elevating their digital presence and enhancing user experiences. By fostering an environment that mimics real-world industry experience, we empower students to not only hone their technical skills but also contribute meaningfully to causes that resonate with them.

By participating in CSSS Tech Consulting, students will gain valuable insights into the software development lifecycle and team dynamics reminiscent of the tech industry. From engaging in regular team meetings to managing individual ticket work, we ensure that our participants receive a holistic and enriching experience that prepares them for their future careers.

CSSS Tech Consulting is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the UBC community. By collaborating with clubs and organizations in the community, we aim to elevate their digital presence and functionality. Whether it's by building a user-friendly app or enhancing an existing website, our tech solutions are designed to deliver true impact and facilitate smoother operations for these groups.

By working in diverse teams and confronting diverse challenges, our members learn to communicate, innovate, and iterate together. CSSS Tech Consulting is not just about individual growth, but about growing together as a tech community.
