Event Day Logistics

This page hosts the logistics for the day of the event for employers. If you have any issues, on the day please contact your nearest TCF Volunteer or message William at the phone number listed in the employer email.
The event will take place at the Great Hall South in the AMS Nest on Thursday Feburary 1, 2024 from 9:30am-5:30pm.
It is open to the public from 10am-4pm. There is a private CS club networking session from 4-5pm.

Location Details

We will be hosting the event in the Great Hall South of the AMS Nest at UBC.

Parking Details

There are multiple parking lots for employers to park in. The closest parking areas appear to be University Blvd Parkade and the North Parkade. We are subject to the university's public parking so space may be limited. We are unable to provide vouchers for parking.

There is also metered parking available on the street, but we do not recommend this as it is very limited and expensive.

Material or Personal Drop-off Details

The closest drop-off area to the Great Hall South would be in by the University Blvd Parking lot or anywhere in the cul-de-sac area closest to Brown's Crafthouse and the Nest. If you require to drop off materials before parking, we suggest dropping them off here and contacting us before hand. Please check your email for our phone details. We will have a team of volunteers near all doors for much of the time between 8:50AM to 10:00AM.

If you require a flatbed to carry large packages, please let us know ahead of time.

Building Details

We are located in the Great Hall South on the 2nd floor of the Nest, which is located on the side of the Nest closest to Brown's Clubhouse and the University Blvd cul-de-sac on the second floor.

We will have signage on the day along with volunteers on the day to direct you to the correct location.

We recommend using the elevator by the Wireless Wave for the fastest movement of materials. The elevator by the RBC is currently out of service.
