The Computer Science Students’ Society presents a Licensed BBQ to celebrate the end of term! Come and chill with us one last time before exams and bask in the last of the autumn sunlight! We’ll have standard BBQ fare. Alcoholic beverages will be at hand although photo ID will be required - (sorry Eugene) :-(.
FoWCS will be holding its November luncheon this Friday, November 16th at noon. As usual, female graduate and undergraduate CS students are invited to come. We especially encourage 1st year undergrads to attend and network with other female students in the department. There will be light refreshments.
(Note: The room, X836, is in the ICICS building, in the X wing. Press the 7th floor button on the elevator located in the X-wing.)
Don’t be shy. Drop by, even if it’s just to say hello and grab some snacks!

Come have a blast, and compete for prizes! This tournament is a Free for all event. Registration will be free, though pizza and pop for the event will be sold separately. This event has capacity for 48 people, so register as soon as you can! Though you are free to come and play before and after the tournament.
In order to register for the Halo 3 Tournament you will need to send a message to [email protected], including your full name, your phone number, your email, and your UBC student number (if you are a student). Please put “Halo 3 Tournament Registration” in the subject of the email. Registering by e-mail will guarantee you a place; any remaining space will be available on a first-come-first-served basis on the day.
All contestants will be required to bring a piece of ID, which will be collected, and returned when the tournament ends.
