Love is in the air! ♥ Whether it’s a special someone or a really good friend, we all have someone we would like to show our appreciation to. The UBC CSSS will help you do just that by delivering candygrams filled with yummy chocolates and candies on Valentine’s Day to these special people.
Project Hub is a new joint UBC Launch Pad and UBC Computer Science Student Society - CSSS initiative starting this weekend, Feburary 2nd, at 3:30PM! 🚀
Meetings will occur biweekly and will consist of a 30-90 minute talk or workshop about a particular technology or skill (either by industry professionals, Launch Pad members, or someone else from the UBC community), followed by an open workspace where everyone can work on their projects, ask for help, network, and explore new ideas - complete with snacks and refreshments! 🍪
The first meeting will feature an Intro to Machine Learning workshop, open to everyone of all skill levels 🤖 We hope to see you there!
Last year, over 50 companies attended the Tech Career Fair to meet undergraduate and graduate students from a wide range of disciplines, including Computer Science, Cognitive Systems, Engineering Physics, and Electrical & Computer Engineering. This is a wonderful way for you to showcase your portfolio, and network with a wide range of companies to find out about internships and post-graduate career opportunities.
Hosted jointly by UBC Computer Science Student Society (CSSS), UBC IEEE, Cognitive Systems Society, and Engineering Physics, the Technical Career Fair will be held on Jan. 31, 2019 @ 10am-4pm in the West Atrium of the UBC Life Sciences Centre.
