If you have any questions about the CSSS or would like to give input about the club and discuss club matters, this is a great opportunity to do so. Our executives will be sharing reports on their activities over the past few months, as well as soliciting feedback on the direction the club should take.
The CSSS is holding pumpkin carving next Wed, Oct 23rd at 6 PM in ICICS X860! We will provide all the tools and pumpkins. This event will be limited to the first 30 students who reserve their spot with a $10 deposit (returned at event). Drop off your deposit at the Cube (ICICS 021) before next Wednesday, Oct 23.

CS Coffee Chat is a program that randomly pairs a junior (1st or 2nd year) student with a senior (3rd+ year) student for a quick meet-up on a monthly basis. This is a low-commitment and informal opportunity for junior students to ask questions about Computer Science majors, classes, extracurriculars, or internships and senior students to share their experiences! If more junior than senior students sign up, we’ll make sure everyone is still in placed a match in a group of three - either in a group of three or with another junior student.
Make new friends and get to know other people walking around ICICS :)
We had a great turnout for both months, with 40 people in October and 84 in November. Since December is finals season, we look forward to picking this up again next January.
Every month, we open the form on first day and close on the last day. Matchings are then sent out to your email during the first week of next month. If you have any questions, reach out to [email protected]
We held a kick-off on Oct 16th for you to meet your match in person and meet other people in CS Coffee Chat over snacks and light refreshments. We have yet to decide if we’ll be running the meet-up again, but if we do, we’ll be sure to let you know here and in weekly emails.
